i like brunswick. m introduced me to grand city variety, a quirky old variety store that reminds me of the old woolworth's in lawrence, kansas, complete with a funny little restaurant area (although it's not a lunch counter, it's lunch counteresque). apparently, m and our sometime-co-worker, matt, occasionally have an "executive lunch" there. i was honored to be included on monday. i had to go non-vegan with a grilled cheese and fries.
matt digs into the special: american chop suey. looks like hamburger helper, n'est-ce pas?
