Lest you are not sufficiently impressed, I must add these details:
- Mark tore up half of the bathroom floor: vinyl, hardwood, subfloor.
- He removed five thousand tons of corroding old lead pipes (the entirety of the bathroom plumbing).
- He installed all new pipes (see PVC, above).
- He replaced the subfloor.
- He installed new hardwood (see below).
- He replaced the toilet, sink, and radiator.
- He was told by one of the plumber guys at the hardware store that this job would have cost at least five thousand dollars if we'd hired a plumber to do it.
I contributed by standing by, prepared to help at a moment's notice, and only complaining about having no toilet, like, once. Also, I carried the old floor boards outside. Also, I occasionally delivered food or coffee.
So, there is much left to do in the bathroom, but the vast majority of it is aesthetic.* I have celebrated by peeing about fifty times today.
*To include painting the floor, tearing out the old "bathfitters" style shower walls and tiling the shower, re-plastering or drywalling the walls and painting, and installing either tile or beadboard.

Hooray for toilet peeing!
Mark is a keepah! Glad you got a sunny day for your big reveal!
Pete says "That's impressive! He's really talented!" And that's the truth.
he IS really talented! it amazes me what he's capable of.
Why I have not been here before, I don't know. I love that you guys tackled this project (sounds like something we'd do!) Your Bathfitter tub would get on well with our F*cker-The-Jacuzzi. Yes, we have a bath redo in our future, also.
