we had eine deutsche abendessen tonight (i'm attempting to say that we had a german dinner, but i have no idea if that's how you'd say it in german). i made vegetarian schnitzel and noodles (which is one of maria's favorite things, you know); asparagus, because i read online somewhere that they sometimes eat it in germany; and apfelschorle, which is fizzy apple juice.
