we rode the city bus downtown, and yes, those kids are swinging from the bars, as well as doing the macarena and singing at the tops of their lungs.

the field trip really was fun. the current exhibit at the historical society is about collections (of soda bottles, silver, circus-themed figurines, and potato bags, among many others). there were lots of hands-on activities, and my group of wacky boys enjoyed designing their own soda bottle labels. here's boo designing a potato bag:
