yup, we're still in the baking business, and now that my sous pastry chef has returned home, i am very happy. yesterday i whipped up some double chocolate chip cookies, which are truly tasty and seem to be popular at cbb. today bean and i made fluffy white cupcakes and frosted them with a dark, fudgy chocolate frosting. we ran out, so i finished the rest with the tangy lemon frosting i had left over from some previous project.
in the oven now are bean's vegan pumpkin-oat-walnut cookies, which smell amazing...
