these shoes are haunting me

i don't know why i love these shoes so much; they don't even look like shoes i'd wear. i never wear shoes with heels, much less 2.75 inch heels. but i keep returning to gaze upon them, again and again.

these are pretty cute, too.

Because they are great!

I ran into a pair a bit like those but green that I fell for. I absolutely love these!
Why wouldn't you wear them?

okay, you're right! i must become the person who would wear cute shoes with a heel. i think i'm ready for it... now i just need to scrape together the $95. they come in brown, too, hmm.

were the green shoes by born (that "o" should have a little diagonal slash through it)?

you can click on either photo for a link to where i found them -- mooshoes. they're both vegan, incidentally! and those second ones come in pink, too.

Number of comments = people like shoes! Alas, they don't have that cute low pair in either your size or mine. Zut alors! I think you should go for the heels, though. I also think you already ARE that person. On a different subject, what do you think about the newest school start times? BMD isn't any too happy....although she didn't want the middle school kids to suffer.

i LOVE those squishy, anatomically correct, naked dolls!!

mama d, i now see all the back-and-forth re: the new start time. i do wish they could just leave it at 8 for high school, but oh well. at least they'll be out at 1:45. what about the late wednesday idea, though?

Don't know if early start is still on....Mary Jo hasn't contacted me yet. Reading the latest MR listserve communications gave me a heightened sympathy for what Mary Jo must go through every day. Even though I don't always agree with her, I'm not sure her salary's high enough...

well, i vote mama d for superintendent!
