windy

there was a tornado yesterday in the midwest which moved through lawrence (city of my birth, my college degree, and my marriage!) and damaged sixty percent of the buildings on the k.u. campus, including danforth chapel, where david and ellen were married. this picture shows damage on massachusetts, the main street in town. i'm sad for lawrence, which isn't exactly where i'm "from," but feels like it is.
