sleeping in the cold
snow, sunshine, dinner with friends, a house full of boys, movies and sleep, scrabble, toast, reading in bed together, melancholia, the history of india, coconut cream pie, catching up, falling behind.
What did you think of Melancholia? There's a debate raging on my FB page about whether it's worthwhile to ever see any von Trier movies. I find his nihilism to be manipulative, but I sort of want to see Melancholia, anyway. It looks beautiful + I like Kirsten Dunst.
actually, we haven't seen it yet, but we plan to next week--i also like kirsten dunst, and i'm a sucker for dark, dreary, nihilistic, etc. and fascinated by von trier, though i don't love him. i'll let you know what i think!
