i'm not a huge horror movie person, and i have to admit that if isaac hadn't been featured in one of these locally made films as the victim of a serial killer (murdered in zoë's bed, as a matter of fact), i might not have made it to the screening thursday night at the nickelodeon. but the seven short horror films included in damnationland* were amazing. really well acted, beautifully filmed, and funny. i can't recommend highly enough that if you missed the portland screenings, you should grab the opportunity to see these films in belfast, houlton, brunswick or waterville tonight!
