well, having missed my number one thing to look forward to in february (the checkout girl's portsmouth opening, as well as swallowfield's enormous tiny art show,* conveniently located right across the street from each other -- portsmouth, new hampshire seemed about a thousand miles away last night, and also i was ferrying kids around a bit. but mostly, i was in my jammies by eight p.m.), i am replacing that thing with this one, jason's** officially awesome lecture on monday. titled, awesomely, "everything i needed to know about capitalism, i learned from watching television: the wire and marx."
*happily, i did get to go out to lunch on thursday with these two, two of my favorite people, at one of my favorite restaurants, and it went a long way toward brightening my february. remind me to order the pineapple brown rice next time!
**although probably i should refer to him from here on out as "the part-to-full-time arabica denizen." that's kind of a mouthful, though.

It was SO crowded at Three Graces last night, I kind of wished _I_ was home in my jammies. It looked great, though--and I ate at Sake: very yummy sushi.
Oh, man--I'm still thinking about that pineapple brown rice. I'm trying to dream up something to celebrate as an excuse to go back right away.
i just want to stay in my jammies until spring. well, maybe with the occasional trip out for pineapple brown rice. :)
yes. yes, yes, yes!
