i'm listening to sufjan stevens's album michigan in honor of the fact that mccain pulled all his campaigning resources out of michigan today (i.e. he's giving up on it).
in more alarming news, his campaign is "opening up an offensive front" in maine! offensive is a nice word for it.

a bit funny to think he would go after such a small state. Maybe he really has suspended his campaign and just wants to enjoy the lovely Maine autumn
