i didn't even realize that shirley temple was in this until the end credits. i was distracted by myrna loy, who i love as nora in the thin man movies.
boo and m and i watched the shining together. boo has been wanting to see it for a long time, and it didn't disappoint him! come and play with us, danny. come play with us forever. and ever. and ever.

i was sure i'd realize that i'd already seen marnie, but no. it was, i guess, a "psychological thriller," and made during what i like to call "hitchcock's weird period." i won't even get into the anti-woman sentiment and strange psychological mumbo-jumbo. i thought that was sean connery, and i was right. he kept trying to disguise his scottish accent, but he couldn't fool me!
