whenever i feel kinda funny about this twitter nonsense, i like to re-read what jason kottke has to say about it. i like knowing what my bruddy had for dinner!
i am so ridiculously excited about this american life, which starts on showtime tomorrow night. we cashed in our twenty-seven hbo channels for showtime and a dvr (net savings = $10/month or thereabouts). we don't actually have the new cable box/dvr in our possession yet, so we may have to stay up until midnight and watch it in real time. have you seen this?
we've been grilling tasty sandwiches lately (bean's favorite: homemade vegan pesto, thinly sliced tomato, and vegan mozzarella on pita. boo's favorite: the same, minus the tomato).
i've been listening with pleasure to mates of state (check them out on the "what i learned from tv" episode of this american life, too).
