i heard the bbc guy say that this morning, and it was music to my ears! check it out, we kicked the republicans out of the house, and maybe the senate, too. maine kept its (supposedly moderate) republican senator, but also its democratic governor. i THOUGHT i could smell democracy in the air last night when i went to vote...

I cannot stop smiling today. it's been a while since an election made me smile. I think quite a few surprises locally. I am shocked that adams won by such a small margin.
