bean and i went up to bradbury mountain state park today to do some leaf peeping (i say that with irony, because it sounds so funny). wow, was it crowded, like being in the mall at christmas time, only prettier! the main summit was packed with peepers and dogs and babies and running-around kids and many people in l.l. bean jackets. i took this photo at a more secluded lookout spot, which we magically had to ourselves.
on saturday, m took bean and boo to meet his friend mitchell and sail around, off littlejohn island, on mitchell's boat for a few hours. they had a lovely morning!
