i read this book so fast -- like a regular speed reader! there's a character based on the artist sophie calle, who i want to be when i grow up, which is why i read the book in the first place. i really loved it (and then i remembered i'd liked "oracle night" very much). next on my list by paul auster is "book of illusions."
