i forgot to mention that while
bean was
cavorting in cambridge with
miss glissando, we watched
vertigo. i hadn't seen it for a long time, and
boo LOVED it. i want to have a classic film festival, and stay up all night watching great old movies! maybe we'll start with hitchcock (we need to catch
bean up). any suggestions for great hitchcock films? i think we're all in agreement that psycho is too scary for my babies.

i wonder how old you were when you watched the vietnam movies!!!
i think mom would say "the birds" is too scary, but that's one i think would be really fun.
well, my current favorite Hitchcock is Rear Window. North by Northwest is nearly a perfect movie. Strangers on a Train is also great(a little creepy...) I actually liked torn curtain, though it really isn't "good", it's fun. To Catch a Theif, Spellbound &/or Notorious (i get those two mixed up) Lifeboat....and and...hoo boy. I also remember our hitchcock & Vietnam festivals fondly. Were we in St Louis or Baltimore?
and, which boy & I had the gratuitous violence & inappropriate sex film festival...? *that* was fun...
well, we are backed up with holiday films at the moment, but i intend to add all the best hitchcock movies to my queue right now. i remember thinking "the trouble with harry" was hilarious. not a scary one at all. i think "rear window" next...
