a visit to the farm

we went to our favorite apple orchard today (inconveniently located almost 2 hours south of us, in ipswich, massachusetts) and met mom and dad for apple cider and doughnuts, and then lunch at woodman's.

here is one new friend we made at the farm today!

I like this farm series! My comments: 1)In Togo, there were sheep and goats just running around the neighborhood. 2)One of my father's Barron Center colleagues, a woman who is more impaired than Dad is, was busily eating her napkin yesterday for Sunday dinner when my pesky Mom intervened and got an aide to feed her some real food. 3) At the San Diego Wild Animal Park petting area in 1989, a young antelope(I think)ate quite a large part of my fetching tiered denim skirt!

i like your comments very much! funny how the goat train of thought progresses... i was enchanted by the sound of gently ripping paper and the goats' mouths chewing it.
