we had fun at the highland games in brunswick yesterday. mom and dad even drove up and joined us there, to watch some highland dancing, listen to bagpipes, eat strawberry shortcake, and see a passel of trembling sheep being terrorized by border collies. boo is seriously considering competing in dance next year; our friend flora took home a trophy.
the scot on the right in this picture was very interested in our strawberry shortcake. he was smoking a stinky pipe. i don't know who those two scots on the left are.
