farm camp

bean, meanwhile, is slaving away at turkey hill farm camp, where she is volunteering for two weeks as a junior counselor. she likes a lot about working there, although six hours is a long time to spend with 3 - 5 year olds in the hot, hot sun! these rabbits live at turkey hill farm, along with pigs, sheep, chickens, and (supposedly) turkeys. they also grow all kinds of organic veggies and flowers.

bean's got some really funny little kid stories, but i'll let her tell them herself. i will reveal that she spent the better part of one day taking kids to the bathroom, holding one little girl up while she peed because she was afraid of falling into the porta-potty hole, and dealing with the aftermath of three kids peeing in their pants.
